A Day trip by coach to Whitby

Half Term in February and a coach trip to Woolacombe (Devon)

The Second week in January (the week before the snow came)
for a holiday in West Scotland

Barges are transported between the lower and higher canals - numerous locks used to take a day to lock through
Hills and Lochs

Early in October we spent a long weekend near Thirsk

In the area depicting the studio was some equipment I had designed as a Senior Engineer at Marconi's in Chelmsford!

End of July and a long weekend based at Uppingham, Rutland
The main purpose of our weekend was to vist Barnsdale, the gardens originally designed by Geoff Hamilton for his TV series.
